Did nothing to my XJ today except day dream about the mods I want to do to her. Oh... yeah I ordered my high flow cat this evening...

 

Almost got backed into by some dumb ****ing drunk chick! I was laying on my horn and felt her just baaaaaaaaaaaaaaarely tap the front bumper. 20 seconds later she tried to defend herself, but I told her I was going to run her down if she didnt drive her drunk *** home.

I was 15 feet from my driveway! Christ. I hate humans.

 

Ha, sometimes I do the same thing, if my XJ was the way I picture it in my head it'd be the greatest Jeep in the world.

 

Went to Pull A Part yesterday to look for some spare parts and a set of good rotor for my disk brake conversion and I found a stock ZJ with brand new rear pad and 1 brand new rotor and for some reason it had a Yukon axle shaft but it was in a D35.

 

Had to figure out why my brake lights stayed on when I put the headlights on, as it turned out the previous owner spliced the trailer wiring to the parking lights and brake lights

 

Replaced th pipe clamp at the tailpipe with a band clamp to prevent rubbing on the leaf

Dissasembled my spare xj leaf packs and xut the eyes of the main to battle my saggin aal kit

I was getting gas and I hear the XJ start sputtering... I get back in... and the CEL is gone? Then when I put it in drive, the RPMs shot up from maybe 800 to 1500 and it scared the **** out of me because I wasn't expecting it to shoot forward like it did.

Anyway, code is gone.

 

Wired in the dome light for the sound bar I put in a few days ago. Dropped the headliner and saw no sound deadening so I got some quick seal and will put that on tomorrow then reinstall the headliner.

Also went by a local guys place who is parting out a limited. Snagged the carpet, seat belt receptacles, air box and intake tube, idle air control valve, floor mats, steering wheel since my xj is a base, and the footwell lights all for $50 so tomorrow will be a real busy day for me getting this all installed.
