I replaced my upper radiator hose. And since my last post I installed a CB radio and took the headliner out....and never put it back in or repaired it.
And I am not sure where I saw it on here, but someone in stalled a 102" whip and said it was ok to transmit with it bent over...And the lie detector determined that was a lie. LOL.
Google Reflect. With your antenna bent over and transmitting, it is sending the signal out and bouncing off the vehicle back into the antenna into your radio. you will end up blowing the final or protection diode (if it has one, depending on the model). Not to mention you will be distorting your signal pattern so it will be no longer omni directional and it will greatly reduce the distance it will travel on transmission.

I don't know jack about cb's. I read the write up for antenna setup earlier though. It said the same thing about reflection though.

Got the water pump and thermostat replaced. Also got a new radiator cap since mine started to leak after replacing the water pump and thermostat. Now onto figuring out why I get low oil pressure while at stop lights.

I'm on a roll!
I removed the carpeting from the rear (fronts are long gone) because the sub box is molding away and the carpet wasn't helping.
Then I replaced the dummy light oil pressure sender in the new motor with a real one. I knew I wasn't at 100psi on startup!
Then my sub cut out on my test drive. Ended up removing the 12s to fix a bare wire. I realized I don't want my woofers in direct contact with the metal floor, so I set out to craft a solution.
I finally found a use for my coil spacers!
It won't move because it's sandwiched between the bench and tailgate. As an added bonus, water won't pool up under it, AND it now sits level with the bench. It didn't sit level with anything before and looked entirely out of place.
Now... Onward! To the gas station!

Door panels rotted from a previous owner.
Center console being made into a stubby one.
Ash tray and cig lighter taken out from the god awful diamond plate that was in it.
Headlight switch broke inside the dash.
And I'm tearing out the carpet. Going to finish that after I replace the seats.
I dont know what else you can see that's messed up lol

Installed a new headlight harness yesterday... Had the stuck high-beam issue...
Turns out my Jeep had factory fogs at one point, so the stock relay was interfering...
Much brighter now!
