What did you do to your Cherokee today?

I don't have any attachment to leaf springs but I really wish you could get a JK with a steel dash, rubber floor, vinyl seats, and no airbags. All the "luxuries" are just things that will eventually break, get dirty/stained, or damaged if you actually use your Jeep and just add to the price.
As for airbags they don't offer that much safety benefit if you wear your seatbelt and I can't stand government safety and fuel economy regulations/requirements. I'm fine with crash testing/rating but that's it. If I want to buy a gas guzzling death trap I should be able to do so. Let the market decide, if there are enough people who want to buy said gas guzzling death traps they will keep being made if not they won't.

My Yj has cooled seats also. It's Called putting your leg out the door and let the air go up your pants leg to cool off your sweaty *****.

Same thing happened to me. Not sure if its the Napa filter or the oil so next oil change I'm gonna run Mobil super hm and a Mobil filter and mmo and see how it reacts. Drives awesome though. Still has solid compression, just has that diesel sound louder now then it did
