Dropped way to much money in it in repairs and inspection. Got it home and changed the spark plug wires. At least it is running way better than when I got it.

Just washed my 99. Cleaned all its windows with Invisible Glass, I love that stuff.

It's worth stopping. Never know may get a screaming deal on it. Even if you don't you won't have that "what if" feeling if it disappears one day.


Thanks everybody for the compliments. I love this thing, wish I had gone that route from the beginning. It took me awhile to find one that even seemed worth going to look at, but I'm glad I waited instead of jumping on one just to have one.

Spent some time under it tonight. Noticed I have an 8.25 so that's a good thing. Just to be sure here is a picture incase I'm wrong someone can correct me.







Also noticed that my fuel filter looks old and nasty as hell so I need to get a new one.
This might be a stupid question but would a bad fuel filter make your check engine light come on? Cause that happened today and yesterday..... Just my luck haha

And another thing, does anyone know what this hose is? It comes out right by the fuel filter and hangs behind the axel

Drove the comanche and quoted tires for the tow rig. Already 2 grand in the hole to move.

yup. 8.25. chances are its not the filter that caused the CEL to come on, and if it was youd probably have a noticeable issue. chances are theres an evap leak or a vac leak of some sort. still worth putting it on a code reader to see what pops up. ill still put two internet dollars on the o2 sensor.. good luck.

Sweet *** about the 8.25. I was gonna go today but wouldn't ya know it I thought to myself "oh ill just go later" haha nope! Fell asleep on the damn couch till 8:45 and they close at 9... Ill just go tomorrow right after work and not put it off until the ever so tempting "later"... On a more serious note, it's not until it heats up and runs for awhile that it comes on. No changes in the way it drives but it idles kind of rough like... Idles fine then rough then fine and so on. There is about 10 seconds between fine and rough(only lasting a second). Haha that was probably a really bad explanation but its the best I got.

finely got aroud to checking my trans fluid and found there was way to much so i drained about 1/2 a quart and it its runnin a whole lot better... and while doin that i found i have a rear main seal next on the list. now i wish i paid a lil bit less for it. all lil fixes but man one after the other. oh well
