Bought all the major recovery gear with shackles and hi lift
but... Failed to install the new rear bumper due to those pesky rusted bolts. Tomorrow the angle grinder comes out to play

Ive done alot to it since ive been gone:
new oil pump (took 15 straight hours... in front of advance auto parts)
water pump (thing was $17... not rebuilt!!
replaced all vacuum lines and emissions related components... it gets 38 mpg AVERAGE!!
fixed the floor on the drivers side. cheap and i mean cheap fix, but it works.
redid all the wiring in the truck...still a bad ground i cannot find... a small black wire goes into my frame where i can reach it...lol i think it got pinched or something from the factory.
straigtened and painted bumpers black
got both mirrors and rear view.
has no 3rd brake light. is this stock?
a buddy of mine has one. has a 3rd brake light. is called en elliminator. nice stock package. has a 360.
did all seals in trans. weird little trans on the inside. toyota is weird
did oil pan gasket

The back up that jeep looks surprisingly comfortable to camp in.
I ended up adding some brake fluid, noticed it was pretty low, plus I am leaking a little out by the driver side rear drum. I am assuming the heat is killing it but I will get that checked out next week. Also noticed I am low on coolant, so that is tomorrows task.

Yanked the battery off the charger and tried to fire up the '01 today, crank no start. At least that's something. Got too dark to continue. Also wasps seem to have moved in by the headlights.
Noticed that it's low on coolant too... upper rad hose feels empty. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Didn't work on my jeep. But I helped a buddy start his motor swap in his yota. If that counts. We got it about 70% done today. Just have to finish the intake and clutch. Then drop it in.
