actually not too dangerous. i dont have sway bars, and truck drives fine. some prefer it this way, because since stock sway bars are not adjustable, they always seem too tight. some peoples driving styles include the use of some body roll.

A 4 cylinder jeep wouldn't get any better then mid 20s due to the weight to power ratio. My 88 mj 4.0 5speed is getting low to mid 20s.

Sat down with an assortment of drill bits, a center punch, a power drill, a 17mm socket/ratchet, a hammer and a can of Sprite. I didn't get up until the other side of holes were done for my RC crossmember. My leg fell asleep and I bent the 25/32" drill bit on the last hole because it caught the last little bit of metal. It's done though.

I agree.. with the jeep club, we would go with about 10 to 20 jeeps on weekend trips and the 4 bagners where barely getting a better mileage then the 6 cyl (sometimes even worse) on and off the trail... Totally not worth the lost in power or reduction in weight.

Looking back on it (and in case someone searches it) you probably should use a 3/4" bit, then just grind out (with dremel or some kind of grinding drum) until the collar fits in there good. 25/32" was a butt hair too big, the collar is loose. I figured a solid fit, like hammering it in, would be better. Maybe not? it just feels loose.
