Finished install of Rough Country Double Disconnects today at lunch time. I used Blue loctite on threads. Posted pics on my 1999xj photo album. So glad I got them mounted, WAY better flex when disconnected.

Didn't do much to it today...In fact, I didn't do anything except wipe of a little dust from all the work I did.

I'm in the process of installing some recessed reverse lights into my stock bumper and splicing them into the factory reverse lights so they all come on together. It's not turning out as "pretty" as I thought, lol!

be careful to not overload the stock wiring harness and cause an electrical fire....

I thought about that but don't think it will be that hard on the electrical. I'm basically just adding some extra light bulbs. They aren't high power or anything and I am putting an inline fuse between the new lights and the wiring harness so hopefully that will alleviate any issues that may arise.

-After I finish the install I am going to hit my whole bumper with spray on bedliner. Should be interesting.

The fuse needs to go in between the old wiring harness and all of the lights. You should really calculate how much load the wires can take, and make sure you're under that number.....and then put an appropriately sized fuse thats rated below what the wiring can handle.

New lights installed and bumper covered with spray on bedliner. It's not perfect, but it's functional. I'm really liking the look of the black bumper. Now it matches my front bumper!

Got my wheels taped off and ready for some primer tomorrow. Yes I know the wheel weights are still on there...

BDS 3" lift with new parts and bits and Wild Country 31X10.5's. Got the work done at Diversified in Toledo. They did a great job for the money, and even posted picks for me. Made me feel special! Can't wait to get dirty this spring.

Cool

I'd find a new tire shop if they put those weights on like that. Any alloy wheels should use stick on weights. Balancing tires correctly is an art. Weights can be minimized by moving (spinning) the tire on the rim till you are close & then adding weights.
