sorry, I can't help you too much with that, I found that picture on google to show where the filter was. I'm pretty sure that hole isn't factory though.

Right on.

I was just wondering. I've been thinking about ways to make my spectre cowl intake a bit quieter. Dynamat would be a lot easier to put in if that hole is there. Lol. I think I need new wiper arms anyways.

I like the noise the thor intake makes, it doesn't seem too loud. Now, to figure out what to do with all that nice space where the old airbox was. I'll think i'll just look at it and appreciate it for now.

lol'd at that last part. I'm procrastinating getting parts together to build my own cowl intake.

kind of looks how mine is. my camber/alignment is all screwed up right now. for some reason my jeep has offset ball joints put in. so now i have an extra D30 which I'm going to take a lot from and swap out, and then sell whats left of the axle to another buddy

Yeah after I added my coil spacers on top of my 3" lift it went out of wack. Guess I need another alignment...

Decided upon a name for the new Jeep ! The wife wanted Black Betty,,,, bah
I countered with Black Death,,, shot down with flames
Then I said Black Bastard and the wife laughed so hard it stuck. (Bastard being the word most commonly sworn when working on it)

AND WOOOHOOO party time for all Aussie Jeeps !! Seafoam AND Royal Purple is now available in Australia. Gonna get me some an clean the guts of that rumbly thing under the hood.
