Nice man! Thats what i do, I'd rather get the satisfaction of bringing a beater back, cheaply, than just buy one for top dollar. My 93 was bought for $500 to be a winter beater for ONE winter. That was 2008. Ive put another $500 or so into it over the years and shes as ugly and rusty as they get, but i'd hop in that XJ and drive it across the country right now. That Jeep stays on the road 99% of the time though. Cant wait to make this new 95 into a reliable DD.....from "scrap".

Drove her in the rain and decided she needs new wipers all around. A full year on the back and just 5 months on the front. Last time I'm getting cheapos on the front. Rainx last the longest in my opinion.

I just picked up a new set of Mopars from Jeep this morning. $25 for two fronts, lets see how long they last.

Found out my gas cap lock cylinder was broken. At the pump of course. Drill and a flathead took care of the problem. $10 for a new gas cap though.

Started on my stubby bumper. Got one mounting bracket done, ran outta oxy on my torch so i couldn't get the other one cut out. 1/4" mounting brackets using 9 bolts per side. Bumper is a piece of 2"x4"x1/4"wall box.
