Topped off my PS fluid, no more earth shattering hum when turning at low speeds.

In one of my YT vids you can hear it and I'm across largish quarry from the camera

I don't really understand what I'm buying when I get a locker, and what part of the D35 is the 'weak link'? Can I just get a locker for it and replace whatever the 'weak' thing is?

How long did it take you to get your rims to sit exactly the same way for the pic?

With the d35, the spider gears are the first weak link. Getting a locker in there completely replaces those. However now your weak point becomes the shafts, and they are c-clip style shafts. So if you snap one (you'd have to be relatively hard on it) you're screwed. You could also look into a super 35 kit with stronger shafts, or just bolt in a junkyard Chrysler 8.25 rear end from a 97+ XJ.

Not to mention the ring gear is pretty small... I wouldn't buy a super 35 kit, just swap in the 97+ 8.25

Don't upgrade anything on a d35...not worth it.

Get a c8.25 and swap that in, then upgrade that.

Well, today (or last night ) a helpful jackass stole the CD player, Dewalt cordless Impact, Bubba rope, some tools, and god knows what else outta my XJ. I hate thieves, but it's a good thing I didn't catch them cause with our messed up laws I'd probably end up going to jail. On the up side, he didn't grab the $150 worth of spare Ujoints or my highlift.

I just went out and checked.. I think I've got a D44 rear, going to get some plywood and crawl under for a closer look. (rained)

Great job! I think we should all spray paint our headlights and tail lights and marker lights black.

Cherokee's should have come from the factory with spray painted black tail lights.
