Friday til just now I did:
Shackle relocation boxes. Shackle angle is now about 40*.
Replaces my 4" coils and 1.75" spacer for some new Rustys 6.5" coils and suprisingly got another full inch or more of lift?...Put in some extended bumpstops.
Installed my HD tie rod with Teraflex 1ton TREs. Had to cut off the steering stabilizer bracket as well as the passenger sway bar link. And grind on my SOLID cover to keep the tie rod off it.
During that I cut into the track bar mount a bit on the axle side and cut into the coil bucket too so I made a peice that fir in there snug from some scrap 3/16" plate and beefed it up. No more slop in the track bar hole(drilled it with a drill bit that was .05 bigger than the bolt). It cleaned the whole area up right there and made it a good bit stronger.
I think thats about it...lol
Also, cleaned it really good inside and out. Cleaned the engine bay for the first time in forever.

I found 2 donor jeeps at the JY today. Got a gauge cluster to convert my idiot lights & several other items I can use. Didn't have all the tools necessary so I will go back tomorrow morning & get the rest of the parts I need.

'87 Pioneer: Had cheapo turbo muffler that split in half replaced with a nice, quiet OEM-style muffler. Got trunk lock key repinned and made 3 duplicates by a a locksmith. Now I can get into the hatch easily for the first time since I bought it 2 years 3 months ago. Had original windshield replaced - it had 3-4 bulleyes and cracks and was pitted and hazy.
'92 Laredo (recently purchased): just about got the RF door panel off so I can replace rattly speaker with a new Pioneer tomorrow. I also need to put door lock keeper on better--lock tries to rotate when unlocking.

got the back half of the lift on. UPS lost the box with the springs so the front will have to wait til RC sends another set. I think I'm actually going to be honest and ship the 2nd set of springs if they ever come. RC has been really nice and accomidating with the missed pacakge and replacing the diff guards because I ordered the wrong ones. Also finished painting the hood and also painted the black trim all around. Was going to work on the window reg but it started raining. Ill add pics at lunch when I can upload them, I'm blocked at work because it's a government computer.

parked it behind my buddy's shop, pulled out my valuables and locked the one door that locks. Not sure what I am going to do with the xj at this point.

after finding out that our banging the exhaust system to get the "lifetime warranty" muffler from mineke off, found out one of their crap welds broke infront of the cat. then went to advanced auto parts, and fixed it up. sounds good.

Finally got around to getting the front end aligned on my "87 Pioneer after 2.3 years! Now the steering wheel is straight for the first time I've owned it.
Also replaced the dreaded headlight switch. That was tough.
Washed it--then a thunderstorm blew in.

Went back to JY & got more parts. Removed the aftermarket gauges we put in years ago to clear the way for the cluster swap. Installed a New (used) windshield washer tank. The original cracked many years ago. It works great now. I hope the cluster swap goes smooth. Got the oil press sender at the JY & also got a speedo gear cause my speedo quit a year ago. I'm hoping it is the speedometer but if not now I have a gear asm. in case i need it. $5. I bet it's $50 at the dealer!
