Sweet, going to try and find the orange in the morning. Got a trip planned for the coast in a week or so and really don't want to worry about catching fire off the exhaust.

Upgraded my engine cooling system:
Radiator for a '91 model w/filler neck & cap, water pump, t-stat, upper & lower hoses and overflow reservior.

I just finished about half an hour ago. I would have been done sooner but when I was all finished up and ready to pour in the coolant, I noticed that my overflow hose was too short to reach the tank, so I had to get to the parts store before they closed to get a longer one.

I fired it up, waited for the t-stat to open and burped the system. It's looking good so far.........no leaks and good flow. The true test will be the ride home from work tomorrow in the hot afternoon sun.

Looks good! What cutting tool did you use? How did you secure the vents to the body? Damn, too bad you aren't closer to San Diego. I could probably use your help doing mine.

Haven't done much with her lately. I replaced the twisty-ties holding down my whip antenna with some plastic clips off an old book bag. Don't know how long it'll last, but at least there's no metal-to-metal contact.

I've pretty much committed to taking her down to Mexico over the Labor Day weekend, so I'm starting to gear up for that. I'd like to upgrade the ignition system and have been doing some research on that. To MSD or not? Accel? I don't know yet, but I hope to have it figured out soon. I have to get the front windshield replaced because of a crack that developed sometime this spring. The glass needs to be without cracks if it's to pass CBP's inspection for my SENTRI pass.

I'm saving up for an IRO 4" lift. Mmm can't wait. Was thinking about going for a Zone offroad 4.5" lift, but haven't found a lot of material on them, though the things I've read weren't bad.. ::shrugs::

Anyway, sorry to slide off topic.

Drove it to work, vacuumed it out, no more mud clumps.

Oh yeah.............forgot about that. I replaced the fan clutch and t-stat last shortly after I bought the Jeep because it was overheating.

I will probably go with electric fans eventually but, that project will have to wait a little while due to a tight budget.

None of the local parts stores sell those fans. All I can find are aftermarket fans which come in several different diameters so, I don't know which one to get.
