The add didnt give a specific year cause they probably just wanted it gone... Ive heard the 97 up ones are better too but idk really how much better... OD why 95+?

95 and up uses the 9 curved blade's. Old fans are 5 straight blade's

Oh ok gotcha... im planning on unbolting the fan clutch from the studs and using the stock location... any tips for taking those studs off?

You don't need to remove the studs. But if you must..... Vice grips.
