yesterday I cut my rear tube bumper a little to fit my cut and fold better.

today, im driving it to work for the first time in six months!

I told my XJ today, that if it doesnt want to stop overheating, Im putting in a new engine. It then proceeded to overheat!
Good thing I keep a spare engine layin around! (I really do keep a spare at all times)

It's universal and did not come with directions (got it off eBay so not sure if i should blame the seller or maker). It's mosty straight forward how to install if you have a pic of one installed but, it took some trial and error to make it fit my specific jeep. Putting the collapsable rod through the seam along the bottom edge of the hatch mattered alot along with the wooden stick cut-to-fit to prop the hatch up at the right angle. The rod catches the hatch between it and the fabric while the stick helps the hatch nice and high and sort of puts everything under some tension.
I have a Ryan's Fab rear bumper and roof rack on a 4dr so your fit and attachment could work out a bit differently. My bungees sort of needed the rear door handle and roof rack being roughly where they are. Also the smaller bumper could effect how it fits. I could see the stock unit changing alot of the angles.
I love how it looks like some sort of crazy assault door from the back. I wish it came in other colors. Now that I know how it goes on, it should go on and off quickly. It looks like it should stay dry but, I think it may not deal with the heaviest winds well. I am going to have to use some sort clip to tighten up the excess fabric to the side window for a better seal.
@Search and Destroy - a little searching online for should turn up a few places to get one.
