It's a first trial, a collection of photos of the Jeep taken in Iceland, during various trips. Based on the initial feedback on the book I would like to improve it and do a better second edition You can find it here:

I had to do it after all I have read on here and heard from other people about the orange can of death. The oil was a personal preference after a friend recomended it.
So you used them for 26 years and had no problems, but after reading a couple people online complain about problems, you believed them over your own personal experience?

Seriously?

I use fram. My dad uses fram. Haven't ever had a single problem.
Don't expect to have a problem.

I had a radiator fixed (not by myself) by the above mentioned method.... lasted a month. I suggest a new radiator.

Ok, thanks for the feedback, I thought that the main cooling radiator might be under more pressure than an AC radiator (as all examples I've found with this technique mention an AC radiator, not the main radiator)

Unfortunately I'm in Iceland and I'm afraid the cost is going to be closer to the equivalent of 1.000 USD. That's why I was really willing to try fixing it before resorting to this option... But thanks for the feedback!

Jeep Cherokees = great work and play vehicle
Also forgot to mention I changed my TPS the same day. It was running a bit off for a couple days, then it ended up throwing a code finally for it. Rpm's and shift points are now right on spec & runs great!

Installed a new header. The downpipe for three of the cylinders was cracked off where the two big pipes come together. Too quiet now...
