Better grounded the cb antenna and removed the stock roof luggage rack. Man, that was a pain! Two screws did NOT want to come off. I ended up using a pitman arm puller to pull the rack off the screws (leaving the screws still embedded in the roof. I've been meaning to take off the rack in anticipation of getting the Jeep painted. I want them to fill the holes as part of the prep. Screwing with my plans is the fact that I may end up installing a gutter-mount roof rack tomorrow. The painters wanted the luggage rack removed before they prep & paint. Now there's going to be a MUCH larger/heavier roof rack there. It'll be too heavy and awkward for me to take down by myself. Anyway, going up north and bringing back a Doug Thornley header. Booyah.

Removed the radiator (not without getting some coolant all over my face) and found where the leak came from, tomorrow I'll get some paste and see if that can hold). Otherwise I'll have to go hunting for a new radiator...

Got done with breakfast/lunch, on the way back I talked a farmer I knew into letting me peruse some of his property to test out my tires. Got permission on the condition I tow his log splitter to his pile do he could tow his trailer back there. Turned out to be a good time with the wife. Saw some deer and a fox, and a couple of red tail hawks. My have future times back there, gonna barter electrical work for wheeling!

Ok, so I've cleaned the radiator around the leak, and now it appears it's less than an inch long (less than 2cm). I've was first recommended to use some paste to fix it, but seeing how big it is would probably not be a long term fix. I was told welding aluminum was tricky but seeing this video I wonder if that would not be an option? Anyone fixed anything like this?
NB: The green line is an inch, each red line a cm and the blue line is the "fracture"

I made this book as I noticed a lot of enthusiasm for both the Jeep and Iceland, which I believe sounds like quite an exotic place from the US (as I gathered most of you guys on this forum are from the US). It's a first trial, a collection of photos of the Jeep taken in Iceland, during various trips. Based on the initial feedback on the book I would like to improve it and do a better second edition
