Drained and put new gear oil in both diffs. The rear had some water in it but not much, the front looked as good as new and if I was a betting man it was factory 90w.

damn

gettin prepped for herc

had to drive down to the shop where my friend works and get him to use his impact on the heat shield bolts that held in the stock nut plate. ended up having to get the hole widened to get the plate out to get the broken studs out

gave the bare metal a little paint

herc'd and painted

on

well, forgot to tighten the bolts for the tie-ins before i put on the bumper and i ended up using one of the tie-in bolts that connects the brackets to the bumper in the frame so its to short so my next day off ill be taking the bumper off and getting the tie-ins right and giving the herc a 2nd coat.
thats all for now

Towing seems to be the theme lately, I just had to tow my buddies ice cream truck to his house after he broke down (ignition switch went bad). I saved him $150 for a 3 mile tow.
