Decided that the 8 year old michelins are just waiting to blow out on the freeway or on a trail and should be replaced... so I set up an appt to do it for today.
Lady I bought it from had an oil change record that shows she only has driven it 21K miles in the last 7 years. So who knows how much sitting in the sun those tires have done. Too bad they're at least 70% tread. They'll probably end up at the pick and pull where some poor dude will roll it when they blow out on him

A lot of exhaust threads in the forum, how about a 3" system, also remember a thread about what the XJ would be today. Worked on a fresh Borla system for a customer. Obviously what Chrysler developed the XJ into. Similarities? Well they both have a comfortable seat and fun to drive. This yellow beast is goes from 0 to 150 faster than a snake strike!
8L V10, tried to fit it in the Peep, had to go back to customers original plan. Cold air intake and Hurst shift was added in the mix. Absolutely Brutal, Brutal!
A license suspension is iminent.
I just don't see a way around it. Customer just wanted a heavier sound and chrome tips. Borla system was flawless and at the outset I didn't think it would fit.
I was wrong, kudos to Borla. Muff back had to be fabbed and fitted, 3" duals. Finally back to the XJ, Roof rack is making progress and I my license will continue to be secure. My adrenelin is just coming down today.

How?....chopped coils, 3 inch drop blocks, and 2wd xj shocks. Drives awesome....but its for sale to finish my crawler.

Lift it!...Cant afford 2 crawlers. I have this for wheeling........https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f46/hu...-build-133183/. Current pics on the last page.
I have owned a few lifted mj's, one with a chevy 350. They just arent big enough for my needs. I take my dogs wheeling with me, and they are kinda big!
