Hudfab DD Jeep Build
I recently quit my job and opened a fabrication/offroad shop in Wheat Ridge Colorado.
I already had an XJ on full widths and 36s, but I found cracks in the unibody from the motor mounts to the firewall. I dont have time to fix this, and re-plate the entire frame, so I bought a little stock XJ to slap all my parts on.
This is the old jeep........
And a pic of my new XJ.......

As you can see, first and foremost, I had to put my logo down the side.
I had a BBQ/Meet n Greet at my shop on 4/14 to celabrate the opening and my b-day.
4/15 was the start of my build......Tear apart the camo XJ.
Completley gutted by noon!! Engine, tranny, t-case, axles and suspension.
Decided to weld some casters to the unibody to easily get it out of the shop.
That was it for the day.

Hello Hufab LA crossmember
This is the new HP D44 that was Installed.
I started working hard, and forgot to take pics of the rest of the day, but I got some pics at 930 PM when I got it drivable. (this is my DD and I had to have it drivable in one day, by myself)

4/16 Had to trim fenders and re-tub the rear wheel wells, as I have a 3 inch wheelbase stretch out back and 2 inches up front.
Still have some finish work to do on the rear fenders.
I found out later that day that one of my best friends had passed, so the build has been on hold since. I will be dedicating the rest of this build to him. R.I.P. Bockman.
4/18 I had one of my good friends build a custom rear quarter panel sub box, out of fiberglass. Also had him install a remote start and alarm on this bad boy!!! Will get pics up soon.
Here are the specs of how she sits now.
6-7ish inch lift
Hudfab 4-link Long Arms
Hudfab crossover steering and track bar
Ford explorer springs in the rear
Hudfab shackle drop brkts
RE 1 inch shackles
HP D44 front with ARB and 5.13 gears...Hudfab truss, Ballistic cover.
Ford 9 inch......soon to have 5.13s and locker undetermined at this point.
36x13.50x15 SS Iroks-Radial since its my DD
Optima Red
CAI
Flowmaster exhaust
and prob some other junk Im forgetting. Not bad for 3 days eh?
Now back to customer jeeps.

I've been following your camo build on here but I had no idea you were opening a shop in Wheat Ridge where I work and live. I'll have to swing by- my XJ's due for some sliders... Anyway nice work man! I'm psyched your fab talent is on this side of town.
