I washed my XJ after our 1000 mile excursion through Northern California last weekend. Started out in Santa Cruz and went to Reno, spent the night at the Ramada. Then drove to Modoc County in Northern Ca. Spent the night on my property there, Drove down to see Burney McArthur Falls, then down through Redding and then back to Santa Cruz. My XJ made it with no problems even with the 'thumping' rear end. SO gas mileage?? Lets see.......989.8 miles on 45.644 gallons of gas comes out to......drum roll please...........21.68 Miles to the gallon! WoW! Much better than I thought. Not bad for a Stock as a Rock 99' XJ with 257+K on it eh?

I did though go shopping around for quick discos and gonna get some jks discos from 4wheelers.com. Cheapest place and cheapest shipping, only place cheaper would be QUADRATEC with free shipping coupon. Gonna order them next week. Can't wait to be able to flex the front
