Been solid for over a month now. I know it's short-lived, but I'm the only one going to be driving it so I've no real worries. The GF drove it once and I think that was enough for her.....
Haha I bought a $8 kit and put the button on... I waited 35 minutes then attempted to put the mirror on and it just fell off. I'll try again here in a little bit.

If your talking to me, the seam was cutting into my tires during full stuff. My new tires are closer to 35's than 33's so i've got to trim a little more and bumpstop a little more untill they wear out.

Oh ok. I cut it and beat it flush and as flat to the body as possible. I just wanted the most room outta the fender-well.

took it wheeling where i got stuck this weekend. made it alot farther than i did saturday down old quad and horse trails that i doubt have been used in about 2 years. according to google maps 8 miles 1 way before i got dead ended by 3 ft wide downed maple, with swamp on both sides. going to go back in the future with some chains and a chainsaw.

its a lil hairy squeezing thru trails that if you had fender flairs thered be no way thru. yelled "get skinny!" to my brother a few times.

this is a pic from the highway bridge i was trying to get to when i got stuck

Finally changed out my stupid huge drop pitman arm for a new factory one. Steering angles are nearly perfect now.

Yeah the ones from the V8's are fairly more stout than the stock ones on the XJ. Same size too. Heres the write up: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/xj...upgrade-82987/
