Good for lifted vehicles because it keeps your t-case yokes from slipping out and dropping your drive shaft if you over extend the suspension. Just hit the search function and you'll fine tons of info on it.

I really need to do one on mine (6" lift w/ custom long arms) whenever I get the time and money. For now I just use it as a DD/toy so it dosen't get flexed much at the moment.

Drove 130 miles on the highway for a job interview. Much speeding involved, and used just over 1/4 tank. Only an XJ gets better highway mileage driving hard than babying it.

Just wait to see what blows up when you fix it. My brakes are all brand new, with some new lines, and a gc booster......it all started by replacing a leaky caliper. Fix one leak, blow a seal somewhere else. Oh it was so much fun

You shouldn't need the torx bolts. The only reason I found it helpful was for reattching the stock bumper with the tow hooks on. If you're just removing the old bumper then all you need is I believe a 15 mm wrench since your vacuum canister is already off.
