SYE = Slip Yoke Eliminator.
Good for lifted vehicles because it keeps your t-case yokes from slipping out and dropping your drive shaft if you over extend the suspension. Just hit the search function and you'll fine tons of info on it.
I really need to do one on mine (6" lift w/ custom long arms) whenever I get the time and money. For now I just use it as a DD/toy so it dosen't get flexed much at the moment.

nothing to my jeep. helped my buddy swapping a 4.5 ruf country lift from a parts jeep on to his stock xj.
just got the rear all done. gonna do the front on Friday
the rear is currently sitting at just over 6" not 4.5 I'm thinking maybe it will settle after he drives it?
Drove 130 miles on the highway for a job interview. Much speeding involved, and used just over 1/4 tank. Only an XJ gets better highway mileage driving hard than babying it.

Opened the hood and looked at the sheared off motor mount and the broken piece of the block where it ripped the third bolt out
