Today I put on my new hella 500's finally.. I did it all wrong, I put on the housings before I put on the grill again, then i messed up the little rubber seal things... And then while trying to put in the light to the housing I dropped it causing it to now have two cracks going down the glass.. I don't k ow if i should, yet again, buy another pair. Or just leave it. I mean they have 100w bulbs and are super bright, even though I need to align them, but the one just looks gross... :/ orrrrrr I have an older housing, bu the bulb doesn't fit perfectly since it's an older housing and then I'd hqve two different looking housings. Gahhhhh it was just a bitter sweet day :/

Um don't you have to pull the carrier with any gear ratio?

You don't always have to pull the carrier the install a lunchbox locker. You obviously have to pull both shafts but it's quite simple.
