I vacuumed, wiped down the interior and door jambs, as well as removed some white paint that seemed to splatter alllllll over the rig by the PO. Dont know how that could happen. Squeaky clean

Went and bought some stock 5 spokes with almost new tires. Tried to get them put and then found out I have an axle swap from a ZJ or something with rear discs - so the stockers wouldn't fit. Also tried to install the rear tire carrier which is in pieces right now. It looks pretty scandalous on there with no spare.

Today was fun...

Dad and I replaced all the shocks on the Heep. Had to cut the rear floor and remove the weld-nuts and replaced them with grade 8 hardware. Front shocks went in smoothly. What a project that was.

Took it to the carwash with a few cans of engine cleaner. I had to get the heavy duty coat of oil off of the underside. Last night was the wonderful rear main seal replacement to prevent said heavy duty coat of oil. I think that is the dirtiest I have ever been.

fixed the dent where the drivers door was hitting the fender, put in a new drivers seat as the old one was shot, put all new taillights and marker lights, put some new 16in wheels and tires on it (well new rims but the tires are not so new).
