Nothing wrong with the wrangler authoritys. no reason to hate just cause walmart sells them.

 

The $80 tires from walmart are Goodyear Wrangler Radials. They arent the most narly tires but they last a while and there better than m/s

 

The tire you are thinking of is just called a wrangler radial. They only come in a235/75R15. I ran them for a year or so. They did alright. At my store, they run $85 plus installation. So far the authority line has done well. Been selling them almost a year and haven't had any complaints. I would have to agree with the guys about the dura tracs though. I bought a set over winter and haven't been disappointed yet.

 

Were I come from walmart also offers a 31x10.50 for around 6 hundred installed. Its a m/t also a wrangler. I belive its called a goodyear wrangler authority m/ts.. Dont quote me on that.. But im thinking thats it.

 

my dad had a set of those that came stock on his 03 wrangler, and they lasted 40,000 miles and he just got them replaced last month because one of a nail in one of them

 

We carry 2 different "wranglers" in stock... One is the wrangler radial and the other is the wrangler authority. The radial only comes in a 235 and the authority only comes in a 31 for a 15 inch rim.
