Default Tires, Tires, Tires...

OH NO! Another tire thread!!!

...sorry...

So the jeep needs some new shoes, and as im going to be taking her down to SIU with me to college, the 25% thats left on the current set just wont work...

Now I dont offroad every weekend, and i wont be able to with time restraints while at school but my dad has always told me "Dont buy tires for the 70% of the time, buy them for the other 30%" Never made much sense to me, until we were up to the bumper in mud in our truck while pheasant hunting...or when we had to launch our boat while the truck was litterally in the lake in canada...thats when i realized what he meant...

So long blab shortened, I want an AT tire and budget is a HUGE thing...i dont wanna spend more than $100 a tire if i dont have to.

Tires i like

*In no order*
-Definity Dakota A/T
-Dunlop Radial Rover RVXT
-Goodyear Wrangler AT/S
-General Grabber A/T
-Kumho Road Venture A/T

Tire size= 235/75/15 or 30/9.5/15 (2in bb is going on soon)

Thoughts on tires? Which would you pick?

Treadwright Guard Dog M/T. They are the same tread as the old style Goodyear Wrangler MT/R, and I have heard all kinds of good things about them. $95 a tire for 31/10.5/15.

Oh i forgot about treadwright! I dont want a MT because of all the highway driving im going to be doing along with the drop in MPG from such a heavy tire...they offer AT's though, dont they?

Ya they have at's, when I get new meats in a month or so I'm going for treadwright. Seems like the best option for me.
