Just curious was it a gm trans?

According to this it used a Mopar Torqueflite 904 (904LU):

Hmm interesting mounted to a gm engine must have had a factory adaptor or something thanks man

Yep, TF904 with a GM 60* bell housing pattern.

The auto was a modified A904 - same guts, but bellhousing was cast with the GM Metric pattern, instead of anything by ChryCo.

(In anyone is wondering, the manual was either a T4 four-speed or a T5 "Non World Class" five-speed.)

904s with the gm bell housing hard to come by?
