Default wet floor

Ok... My drivers side floor is soaked, the carpet is like a puddle, but the walls around the bottom of the floor is dry. Its started moving to the passenger side. Has anyone else had this. If so where does the water leak from.

I'm having almost the same issue with my passenger side where i don't really even have to hit any puddles and the carpet gets damp for me, i believe it must be leaking from the arch of the wheel well.

I'm betting its going to be the grille on the hood below the windshield wipers, I'm going to take a 10 gallon bucket and dump it in different places Untill I find when it puddles up

I don't know if that's my issue since the passenger side isn't really vents just show vents but let us know how that works out

I have the same problem. Never sunk my xj and it has. Zero rust. It's almost like it just appears. I've been trying to chase it down for a few months.. The only thing I can think of is its coming down through the w/s and through the kick panel to the carpet...

But like you said and same goes for me..
Around the carpet feels dry... Which is weird..

I had this exact problem. It took me some time to figure this one out. But I finally took it to a Windshield replacement place and they said the windshield had separated from the truck. Old silicon, or if your windshield has been replaced before and the guys did a terrible job, the windshield will separate from the uni-body. The water will run down the "A" pillar and fill up your floor boards in a hurry. Trust me I know, it scared the crap out of me. Just glad I have my rugged ridge floor mats. They held most of the water with only a little bit flowing over.
