Angry Well s***...

Rusty screw broke off the distributor cap while attempting to replace it yesterday. After a few hours and a can of WD40 its finally out, but not without another unexpected broken piece to deal with later...

What are some other damages you guys have incurred in the process of fixing something totally different?

Also, any ideas on how to get this out? Its pretty snug in there, and I'd hate to break plastic pieces off into it

Hey! I've done that before!

Put one of those bolt extraction kits into it and pull it out that way.

Screw a small wood screw into the plastic to give something to pull on with pliers

^ I have used this trick countless times for various reasons. May need to drill a small hole first.

Every 5th time I'm in the engine bay I fell like I break a vac line.

Got those, vac line blues.
