Weld spatter will often melt the glass causing tiny dimples, I've removed a bit using a small screwdriver as a chisel being very careful. Because of the fact that it likely melted into the glass you will not get it looking perfect.

It might work, though it might just chew up the plastic. It really depends on how burned in they are lol.

Yeah, an ice scraper will totally get metal off of glass.

If it's got metal spatter all over it and cracks from wheeling replace it. Take a few seconds to cover the windshield next time.

I've been holding off on replacing it cause its just gonna break again. Eventually. I would have covered it but I was only gonna mess with it for a second... Thanks for the sarcasm tho

Oil will only thicken and get dirty again, leafs will just sag again, rusty rockers and floors will just rust again, yeah...

If your windshield, that big piece of glass that keep your vision clear and keeps you from wrecking your **** is covered in weld splatter (how the hell does that even happen?) and cracks it's probably time to replace it. It's not even that expensive, insurance will usually cover it for pretty cheap.

Check your insurance policy if the windshield is beat up anyhow. Comprehensive is cheap and usually covers glass breakage at 100% and it doesn't usually effect your premium.

Not going to happen it is the same as welding splatter its is molten/semi molten metal hitting the glass and it actually melts the glass where it lands and melts into the glass so even if you remove the metal the glass is still deformed in that place.
