my girlfriend's at 5/8ths and I'm thinking I don't want to go much bigger than that.

here's some plugs I made her for valentines day last year. They were the first pair I ever made and they were a little too big.. I have a digital caliper now and I'm getting my own lathe soon so I don't have to drive an hour to my dads house to work.

Thanks, man. I really enjoy doing it. Those were walnut and I coated them with bees wax. I use joboba oil now. I've used maple as well and I made some with birch but I was just messing around with those. Once I can spend some more time on the lathe I'm going to look into some harder more exotic woods

 

its nice to see some other people that like gauges as much as i do my are at 3/4"s probly the biggest ill go.
