water in the intercooler

water in the intercooler
done a verry foolish thing today whilst flushing out my cooling system due to radiator replacement i for some reason put the hose in the exaust /interccooler outlet on my xj 2.5td vm engine .can anyone tell me were the water would have gone ie in turbo or into sump

Obviously you were just upset with that ungrateful machine constantly costing you $$$ for new parts. I think we should all torture our jeeps every time they cost us $$$ for parts. Show 'em who's boss! They'll toe the line... or else!

How much water and how much pressure did you use? If this was indeed the engine-side of the intercooler I wouldn't be too worried... Rip it apart and take a look. Air filter may be quite soggy.
