I'm thinking about swapping my seats which are getting a little tired with something that has a little more support for those longer drives. Anyone have experience swapping seats with later jeep years and even other car manufacturers ?

I'm not sure about seats from other manufacturers, but I believe you can get a Grand Cherokee WJ seat (1999-2004 seat) to fit in place of the ZJ seat. The WJ seats will be a bit cushier and offer a bit more support, especially the leather seats. Not sure if you can reuse the seat frames from your ZJ or not with WJ seats, though. The most work you'd have to do is to re-tap the holes in the floor pans with a tap and die set.
