I personally would get a small OME lift if you want it to handle/ride better. They are kinda pricey but they get great reviews as far as ride quality. Their shocks/springs are some of the best in that aspect. There is not a ton of great options suspension wise for a stock XJ.
Don't get the dynomax system. Sure it is cheap but I didn't get anything out of it. Sound or power. Borla makes nice exhaust but it is really pricey. Currently I have a exhaust made at a local shop that is just a cat and a cherry bomb. I got a little bit more power and it sounds really good. X2 on the Neon/Ford injectors. They really gave me some throttle response and they are cheap.
Speakers all look good.. amp etc. I have double din pioneer in mine.. took a little work but its pretty nice having the GPS/ watching movies etc. I am currently tossing around the idea of building a like this: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f10/xj...y-10-a-120210/ I had 2 12's in a giant kicker box but it took up to much room so I dropped to a 10... still takes up too much room. These boxes supposedly sound amazing and take up no room. Seems like a win win to me. I just cant justify spending 255$ on a box that will cost me ~50$ to build
I agree with the other guys though. You should get some kind of lift. If you get a good quality<3" kit, it will handle better than stock and give you more offroad capability. I am at 6.5" and 35's with an IRO kit and even that rides better than stock (just more top heavy haha) Your jeep, do what you like but don't get a civic

I like the snorkel idea the best. And how well does the cowl intake work at keeping water out? Also my jeep has a wobble at 55ish can I lift and replace the ball joints tie rods etc and it have a chance at fixing it?

I've driven it through some heavy heavy rain going 55-60. Nothing that shows water got it. I've washed it twice with power washer. No water. Its been driven on a 1500 mile trip. I've taken it down dirt, dusty, gravel muddy roads. Just not really anything I would call a trail. (The jeep is stock height/tires)
I personally just hate the way the snorkels that come out the side look.
If you're not sure you want to lift it yet just throw some bigger tires on it first, a 30-31" tire or so. See how you like it. The tires are what hurt your MPG and power, at least more so than a 2-3" lift.

I think I might go for the cowl intake or something like that thanks! But that's why I wanted to stay stock was for the wobble but it has tires that it sat sat on for like 7 years... That's probably it and my tie rods not for sure but would a good set of polyurethane bushings improve things at all? And I would get 30's on a two inch lift would that look cheesy at all?

Poly bushings for what? Tie rods? They're just dust boots. So no. If you're talking about suspension bushings , sway bar, track bar etc. Then yea. It could help. Just depends.

Roll cage? Im not saying its a bad idea but if you only wheel it once a month. And probably not that hard since its your DD, I'd put a lift on the list before a cage.
DPGoffroad is who I keep seeing recommended for OME parts. I haven't had business with them personally though but I'll call them when I shop around.
Honestly, the price isn't bad at all, I've bought from a few companies and if the quality holds true to all the reviews than I don't have much hesitation about forking over the cash for my DD.

I don't know why I just wanted a roll cage and just though it would be a good idea if I ever wheeled it harder to keep the body from flexing as much. I'm saving about 2500-3000k to put into my jeep I just want it to perform well with put killing it's mileage I'm probably goin to OME if I can.

You could look at some frame stiffeners too, they help reduce the unibody flexing. I may do those on the DD.
No doubt roll cages are good. I just can't sacrifice the space in the one I drive all the time. I have another XJ for a wheeler, that one will be caged eventually.

How hard would it be to weld full Fran stiffners? Also I like that idea it makes the OME not seem as expensive xD how well do rock sliders work? I know that it won't be lifted high and stuff so if I took out the roll cage out of my budget I can get them do they work well? And cams with a 99+ intake and a bored throttle body assuming I had that what cam should I get that would not really affect my milage? Thanks

I got the dynomax exhaust you have listed and i love it. it isnt really that loud but its got a nice deep rumble to it. for the price you really cant beat it.
