Well I pricing some stuff and here is what I have so far,
Speakers/Audio (Amazon.com)
· Kicker DS65 6.5" Coax Speakers (Pair) $40.00 (Front doors)
· Pioneer DEH-1300MP $60.04
· JVC CS-HX538 5.25" 3-Way Coaxial Speakers 230W Mx $28 (rear hatch)
· Kenwood KAC-1502S Stereo / Bridgeable 350 Watts 2 Channel Car Power Amplifier $60
· Kenwood Kfc-w2513ps 10-Inch 4 Ohm Car Subwoofer $37
· Atrend E10S B Box Series 10-Inch Single Hatchback Enclosures $25
Total, 250.
Performance
· AEM 21-8315DP Polished Brute Force Intake System $207.99
· 99+ Intake manifold, P/s stuff. Ruff est $125
· Dynomax 17340 Exhaust System $147.58
· APN Jeep Exhaust Manifold $159.90
I'm wondering if there was anything I could better for performance and the audio. I also need some ideas for the suspension... I have no idea what shocks to get and what bushings to run I want a nice ride a tight handling I really can't seem to find much. I kinda wanna stay stock height and such so I can keep it's handling good. So any advice etc would be awesome.

I can.. The audio is not really that important I just want to handle better than stock and it needs new shocks etc. I just want it to perform beter Also I have no idea as for what to do to get the best suspension set up for a stock height. :/

Thanks, Yea I was thinking about the bored throttle body but how would fly with the 99+ intake? Would that be a solid set up with the exhaust/intake? And I just like the way the aem system looks but would a snorkel be better for say? They cost about the same Sorry for asking so much but what would be a good came set up that would not kill my gas mileage? And would a water meth injection system add any more mpgs and a little more power with the higher octane fuel and such.

seriously. throw a loud muffler on it so you think you're fast, that solves the motor side of things. throw all the audio stuff in it and you will have something that handles and rides better than the XJ on the road, and will get way better MPG.
i only say this because it doesnt sound like you plan to use the XJ to wheel. to each his own, but the civic would be much more practical for your uses.

I really dont want a civic and I do wheel it about once a month just not really hard trails or anything. Would the 99+ intake and bored throttle body decrease gas milage any? How well does a cowl intake work? The reason I want the performance stuff is because I like to build things and such.

There is a guy in the vendor section that sells a copy of ARBs safari snorkel for 120 bucks. I would go that route. You are actually getting cold air and you have a snorkel (hopefully you will actually use it someday ) The safari is around 350 so thats a ton of savings.
I personally would get a small OME lift if you want it to handle/ride better. They are kinda pricey but they get great reviews as far as ride quality. Their shocks/springs are some of the best in that aspect. There is not a ton of great options suspension wise for a stock XJ.
Don't get the dynomax system. Sure it is cheap but I didn't get anything out of it. Sound or power. Borla makes nice exhaust but it is really pricey. Currently I have a exhaust made at a local shop that is just a cat and a cherry bomb. I got a little bit more power and it sounds really good. This guy is good as well: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f10/ne...st-kits-45131/
X2 on the Neon/Ford injectors. They really gave me some throttle response and they are cheap.
Speakers all look good.. amp etc. I have double din pioneer in mine.. took a little work but its pretty nice having the GPS/ watching movies etc. I am currently tossing around the idea of building a like this: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f10/xj...y-10-a-120210/ I had 2 12's in a giant kicker box but it took up to much room so I dropped to a 10... still takes up too much room. These boxes supposedly sound amazing and take up no room. Seems like a win win to me. I just cant justify spending 255$ on a box that will cost me ~50$ to build
I agree with the other guys though. You should get some kind of lift. If you get a good quality<3" kit, it will handle better than stock and give you more offroad capability. I am at 6.5" and 35's with an IRO kit and even that rides better than stock (just more top heavy haha) Your jeep, do what you like but don't get a civic

Do you have a link for that $120 snorkel? I couldn't find it.
On the cowl intake.
Mine is a Spectre kit. I like it, a bit noisy for some, but I like it. It take cold air from the same spot the HVAC system does. It also moves it from the stock location, which was a plus for me.
