Wow... when I read the part about runnin 80 MPG city and getting 250 HP over stock... I honestly think my mind just melted inside my head and everything else just shorted out.

To the OP, do you honestly know how ignorant that sounded?? There is no possible way. Please take your crap and go away, or make a video WITH dyno results AND witnesses to prove your improvements and gains.

You really need to quit talking, you are just making yourself sound dumb. Go over on LS1GTO.com, or LS2GTO.com (same site), and look. The fastest LS2 bolt on GTO runs 11.5 and the fastest LS1 bolt on car runs 11.53's, I think. . .I know its low 11.5s. Yeah thats such a HUGE difference. The fastest stock displacement NA GTO, heads cam intake but no stroker or forced induction, is in fact a LS1 car and runs 10.5's. . . the fastest stock displacement NA LS2 GTO runs 10.8's. Yeah LS1 GTO's are soooooo slow. . . . keep thinking that.

But that is my opinion. Feel free to disagree with me.
I will since there are a few bolt on GTO's, both LS1 and 2, in the mid to high 11's and since you dont see them everyday, like the millions of Mustangs around, they are more appealing to me. I dont want to drive something that everyone else is so no Mustangs for me. Also if you think the GTO is a pos then obviously you have never driven one or even sat in one. Probably one of the nicest interiors in any GM and definitely the nicest seats. You sound like a teenager that is just repeating the information he has heard from his ricer friends who meet at the local 7-11

underpowered, Really?? How do you figure? 400hp is underpowered? Well alrighty then I guess in your opinion the only car that is not underpowered is the Veyron
heavy, Yeah I'll give you that one but then again the Mustang is only 200 lbs lighter
more bark than bite, Obviously you have never driven one. . .that is all
overrated, etc... Yeah definitely overrated. Probably was the best bang for the buck of any car when it went off the market in '06, in fact I believe car and driver or motortrend said so themselves
^^

Why are you comparing it to a mustang? Its not in the same league. Sweet Jesus dude get off it already.

Besides the goat was so great with its short life span and its fat ***... Looked like a sunbird on steroids.

Anyways I like the GTO, I like Mustangs, I like lots of performance vehicles.

Lol, I was making a joke about how ridiculous they are. There is absolutely no way that you could get that. A couple other guys and me were joking back and forth about the idea and outrageous performance that we got. None of us use them because they're worthless.

Sorry if you got confused. It was all for fun. I'm running a stock 2.5L nothing else.

whats the opinon on this i think its cool and they offer a 100% refund its cheep and i would fork out this little money if i had it and prob will any opinions?
Do yourself a favor and save your money. "Cheap" and "Horsepower" aren't normally used in the same sentence for a reason. There's no such thing as cheap horsepower. Unless of course you have a big block V8 laying around, and do all the installation work yourself.
You need to ignore all the BS in this thread and just do a good tune-up. Then go back to dreaming of a future project.

Edit: Here's you a fast XJ. (Of course it has a big block Mopar engine in it).>

if you guys really wana know how great these lil elctric morotrs are I loved them so much not only did I hook one up on the intake i went an revesed the polairty and hooked one up on the exhaust side to help with the vacuum... i had a 92.4hp increase and was able to run a 8.42 on 33's pulling my camper in a 36 mph 9:30 ish o clock cross wind in the mountains on a 3% grade while in 4wd. and not to mention my dog had his head hangin out the window watching the increased control it gave me... comon get real. we all know these things are a waste of money and time but this tread has been great reading. made me feel i needed to clear my bs load for the week.

I wasn't gonna, but I just have to post on this one...

First, I think the fans on my computer move more air than these so called "electric turbo's", and they were far cheaper. I wouldn't use one to cool off my nitro r/c car...

Second, an 11 second 2.5 Ranger? What cliff did you push it off of? Was it being pushed by a train? I should have never sold my 71 Buick GS- it ran 10:62 in the 1/4 at US131 Motorsports Park before I sold it to move to NC. And it was stock... Well mostly stock... The cam, push rods, rockers, and headers were in stock when I bought 'em... That car was KNOWN in Grand Rapids Michigan...
