You don't have a generator on the roof rack? Geesh, that's the new thing!

I wouldn't put a supercharger on just anything. A smallblock supercharged is hard to beat IMO performace-wise.
Does he ever bring that turbo'ed 2.5 out west? I got some doors that need to be blown off on my slow mid 10 sec. GTO. lol

HAHA How about keep your mouth shut if you dont know what your saying.

Fails, You dont get a 10 hp gain from a s/c, they dont cost 1-200$ They dont take half the horse power to run its a low percent. Turbos are a bit more efficient but also have a lag, so the end result isnt far apart.

And also 00Pajeepcherokee show me a time slip/video of this ranger beating a gto. Because thats the funnest **** I have ever heard.

Now if it was a twin setup on a built motor with forged internals and a whole suspension set up build for a straight line only then sure.
ha ha jokes on u cuz his truck runs mid 10's an isn't any old dumb 2.5. Its bored out to all the 3.0 svo parts fit in it, wit a hx 40 Turbo off a cummins engine. I've been in the truck when he raced the gto. From 30-120 the gto can't touch him. He runs between 28-30 psi of boost. It has forged internals, the whole works.

If u want proof swing on over to turborangerforum.com. he's a mod or actually owns the site.

Guess there is a 12 second ranger on that forum....to me its hard to believe because my 99 5-speed 2.5 was so slow I fell asleep by the time I got to 3rd....

my bad he now runs mid 11's not 10's. He's not been on there awhile.

The joke is That ls1 gtos mildly modified only run at the best high 12's without some serious work. Ls2's, well those are a different story.

I'll take a new 5.0 mustang an run high 11's with longtube headers, exhaust an a tune anyday over a overhyped pos gto.
But that is my opinion. Feel free to disagree with me.

Sorry I hijacked this thread.

I own a Mustang, I spend time at strips. I know what cars do and can do.

What matters the most is who can spend the most money.

And I never said it wasnt possible.

Awesome pic.

Ya know, if my lady friend hadn't lost her job 2 months before our wedding date in Puerto Rico, maybe I'd have some work done.

Someday we'll have a good one. Someday.

Guess, I'll go sell my POS GTO than!!! Seriously why is it a POS? The new 5.0 is nice, its about time Ford got back in the game, i mean the last mustang worth a damn, was the 03-04 termi's.
