I like caish's idea, we might end up doing something similar to that.
Also what are your guy's thoughts on the possibility of the drivetrain, suspension, and steering being in an ok condition??
the only info i have of the truck's condition is 2 flat tires and the body is destryed...its also a leafspring set up on all four corners. dont know if that would make any differences...
my thoughts are if the drivetrain, suspension, and steering are in good to decent shape we could cut the roof, and have the ability to provide some power to the wheels so its not dead weight...

Sorry to hear about the guy getting hurt. Hope he gets well quick and back to wheelin soon.
The battery's definitely gonna need checked out. Any time I've rolled over, the battery takes a beating. Check the vehicle over and make sure it's safe to start it for power. A broken spring isn't a big deal as long as the tires wont get caught on the body. Take oil and antifreeze just to be sure that you don't destroy the engine. Check the T case and tranny to be sure that they aren't broken (cracked).
Most of all, be cautious take it slow and be safe. I hope these few things help out.

Rob that brought up some very good points. i wouldnt have even thought about bringing extra fluids.
Well the 2 other vehicles are out right now so it just leaves the truck. the roof is flat, so we'll probably have to cut that open IF we get it. one of the injuried driver's friends knows alot of people that could help. so we might just let them have at it. Not sure yet. But we have time.
But after 3 different stories the final injury count is the usual mass of cuts and bruises, a deep cut that cut a tendon in his hand, broken collar bone, and 2 cracked vertebrae. one in the neck and the other in the lower back.

just be sure to have the truck secured with straps when you flip it back over so it doesn't roll away on ya. then let it sit for a bit before you try to start it. remove the spark plugs and crank the engine a couple rotations to get any fluids out of the cylinders.
bring a high lift jack to jack the roof back up. easier than trying to cut it off in the field.
there is a possibility of a bent axle shaft, even with the leaf springs. but you can find/cut a chunk of log and strap that between the frame and axle to keep the wheels from rubbing. bring a spare to replace the flat if possible.
if the rig was built, chances are it has a gel battery, so you should be fine there, as long as it was strapped down correctly and didn't get damaged by the fan.
good luck and again, be safe. double check your rigging before you try anything. and stand clear of the cables/chain when under load. use a floor mat, jacket, blanket or spare strap to drape over the winch cable incase of a break.

I was out with a bud of mine years back in south dakota. We were wheeling and got 2 trucks jammed up out in the middle of nowhere. Were with a group of about 5 or 6 vehicles but couldnt get them out.
He called one of the local toyota wheeling clubs (he was a toyo guy) and told them about his problem. They showed up a few days later with an ARMY of vehicles and guys. They got the trucks out and helped get them back to the road so we could get a tow

Thanks for the tips. I'll keep those in mind if we go out and get it ourselves.
