I am doing 2" OME leaf packs in back and spacers in front with rusty's shocks all around. My question is, can I get away with trimming the fenders after the lift and as well as after the 31" tires are installed. I have a half hour drive after the tires are changed and I can trim after that. I just dont want to trim too much ahead of time. Do you guys think it would be ok to wait?

 

You can trim them whenever you want. I did mine with 32's and the 3" lift installed

Oh and I'm also wondering if I should upgrade my spare from the stock one if I'm going up to 31". Could i use one of my stock tires and find a 15" rim for it to save money?

 

You should not need to trim for 31s an a 2inch lift. I have 3.5 and 31s and I have alot of room for bigger tires. If anything just take the flares off ad maybe do a fender roll
