Default Transmission part on 4x4 conversion

Im thinkin about converting my locked 2wd to a 4x4. I can get a front axle, Tcase and driveshafts for $250. Now what do i need to do to my trans? I herd something about the tailshaft? I dont want to buy anothr tranny and this is my only real snag

i may be wrong but im pretty sure u can remove the tailshaft and the t-case should bolt up to the trans and so on. if im wrong please let me kn guys

From what Ive read, youd have to totally tear teh 2wd trans apart and swap the output shaft. Be easier to buy a 4wd trans...
