Default tranny?????

im asking your opinions, not for help on a tranny!
i was wondering the other day, if you guys/gals preferred manual or automatic transmissions for your off road driving applications. im sure alot of it has to do with your personal preference but why not see what you like!
cuz the other day i was with my friends and we had some time o kill so we were playing around in a parking lot and i had to spend alot more time then them putting my front tire of rocks. cuz i had to work the clutch and stuff.
so which is it automatic or manual????

thanks wheeler

Auto for Off-Road. God only gave me 2 feet.
Manual for Street. unless a bunch of stop and go, traffic, then Auto.

see i prefer manual, cause my brother has and auto, and so does my roommate, and they r always stopping cause the transmission gets too hot. with a manual, u just have to play with the clutch a little bit more. so it once again is down to personal preference. i love my manual cause i play in the mud alot...but it is hard on the clutch for slow rock climbs and strait up walls.

Auto in my jeep, easier off road.

Manual in my race car, faster 1/4 times ;-)

I prefer manual for daily driving, and auto for the rocks. But you better have a good aux cooler.
