My auto transmission is weird on my 94 cherokee sport. When I put it in drive I takes a bit to get it going when I put it in 1-2 it goes and shift into drive it fine while driving. What you guys think it could be? Fluid and filter change? The jeep has 144,000 miles on it. And the previous owner it was shifting fine until he changed the starter... What do you guys think?

I think it's possibly muffler bearings and smog valve malfunction
