There isn't reason to label it a POS at all. As has been clarified above, it wasn't Rough Country equipment that has been breaking, it was Rustys.

Bad taste in their mouths from low prices, I suppose, however you can't beat Rough Country's life-of-vehicle guarantee either... something breaks and they'll send you a new part absolutely free. In my opinion, well worth saving a couple of bucks.

I have personally never had a piece of Rough Country equipment break on me, so I have never had to use the warranty.

I'm going to make myself very clear here. I've never had a problem with Rough Country equipment, but I'm aware that there are better kits out there. Obviously a debatable topic. The way I see it, we're riding in Jeeps, not soccer mom cars, removing the bumpy ride defeats the purpose – that's all part of the fun!

I think the weak link in the rough country track bar is the crappy tie rod ends they use. After replacing mine twice in six months I switched over the the IRO double shear set up. Other than the TREs though, I don't have any comolaints about the RC track bar.

I just ordered the Rubicon Express bar from Serious. I went with P/N RE1600 (single shear). He's got a 5% off promotion so I snagged it for something like 111$. Most of the reviews have been positive on it. You could up for the RE1660 if you feel you need the added beef.

I just put in a new axle and upgraded my stock track bar to the Iron Rock Offroad double sheer. This thing is pure beef!
