Have a 3.5" re lift kit and started to have some bad vibes, so I was looking into getting a new trac bar. I was wondering what is the difference between the re1600 and the re1660 trac bars. I also have 2" blocks in front as well.

the trac bar controls the centering of your axle (left to right) your vibes are coming from your drive shaft angle.. get a transfer case drop/hack & tap/SYE+ custom drive shaft.

I have a transfer case drop and that solved my problems for low speed vibrations. Now when I drive from 45-55mph I have bad vibrations from the front end. Now when I installed the lift kit I rebuilt the front end, except the ball joints and the hubs, but they seemed okay at the time. After reading many threads here and on other forums, it seemed like that most people had similar problems like mine, and installed a aftermarket trac bar and drop bracket. Any suggestions or corrections would be great. Still can't seem to find out the difference between the two trac bars I was looking at.

sounds more like you need to rebuild the front shaft. try taking the front driveshaft out and see if the vibes go away

I took the front driveshaft to a local driveline company and everything was true, and yeah my Wheels are balanced and the front end is aligned.

The trac bar with the vertical drop kit makes all the difference. They literally will change the entire way your jeep rides

Yeah it did for all 3 xjs I've owned. When you lift it it changes the entire steering set-up, all the angles and such. Also the joint on the drop down bracket is different and won't play as much
