Default tow mirrors for xj

Anyone seen tow mirrors for our xjs? I'm talking about the flip up or pull out ones like on 2500s and f250s ?

Are big tow mirrors really what you want to spend your limited college funds on?

It's been done, but they just look goofy and out of place. I can't imagine you'll be towing anything where you need them.

I thought for a second before opening this thread that maybe you had discovered something and was going to share it with us

I wouldn't mind an upgraded mirror setup. I do think the stock mirrors look goofy.

Just looking for something different, I have my tax refund and want to do something for the jeep. I like the tow mirrors on trucks, I might like them on my jeep also.

Maybe do quick disconnects, stainless steel brake lines, bump stops, longer shocks, LED lights, or something better with your money

I know, there is also other things for the jeep that i want, this is just one of them. I was wondering if anyone knew if you could get them? Personalizing the jeep how I want, just hoping someone had a lead as to where to get them...

it's usually diesel douchebags that drive around with their mirrors flipped up.
you really don't want those on a jeep.

Caged we call it towing a ghost trailer,Honestly i wouldn't put them on a xj it can't tow enough to need them.Plus if you go off road you will knock them off in time.

call it what you want. i still think it looks ridiculous.

i was one of the only dodge trucks that kept them down, and i was towing every day.

anyways, if you're gonna tow a wide trailer, you can get a set of snap on tow mirrors that fit over your stock ones that extend out with another mirror and a convex that looks damn near factory.
