I am trying to figure out how I want to secure mine am and wondering how you guys have done it. I would love pics but a detailed description would also be helpful. Any responses are greatly appreciated!!

Just a simple little one like a foot and a half long by like 8 inches tall and deep with a removable tray

i was looking and looking for a place to mount mine also, think im just going to build a rack in the cargo area and give the tool box a home with all the other goodies going in the cargo area

I ended up getting a bog rubbermaid container to put my red tool box in the breaker bar oil radiator fluid all my needs and strapped it into the back of my jeeps cargo area

I made a bumber out of scrap metal it has a tolvox on the front....and i pushed a friends duely with it 1/4 mile and no scratches i can post pixs tomarrow if my fone app works.

mine has 4 little anchors in the cargo bay that i currently use to bungee down my tool box and recovery box. but i do plan on bolting them down soon, when i figure out how id be happy to post some pics, (if you haven't figured it out already)

so i think i got an idea for bolting things down. going through the floor board... a large bolt going down, with a large washer (huge like 2" around) and coming up from the bottom will be another "huge" washer with a large nut. it is not the best you can do but it seems like it will work quite well if you do it right.

Mine is heavy enough that it doest slide around too much...

Here it is... nothing fancy, but it works.

mine normally doesnt slide while im just driving, but i can get into some really tippy spots when i go four wheelin. i have even lost stuff out of 5 gal buckets ive bungeed in. so i need something that holds better, and has a lid. so... bolted down tool box
