Tire warranty worth it?
So I have the option to purchase a full warranty from discount tire Co. on my new 35" BFG km2 m/t tires that lasts three years and offers a brand new replacement any time a tire is damaged within 3 years. It would cost $170 total for 4 tires to be covered. These tires cost me about 270 each new. Anyone think the warranty is a good idea? If it was on a street vehicle I wouldn't bother but wheeling it pretty frequently makes a higher risk of a puncture or torn side wall. Are there really any good odds of messing up a tire in the first 3 yrs?

I paid $96 to get that policy on my 33" duratracs (cost $156 per tire). Honestly it's a gamble, but one irreparable tire problem and it's paid for itself. Pretty good deal in my opinion, especially if you offroad considering the increased chance for damage to your tires. Some people say it's not worth it, maybe those people are just lucky lol.
