Default Need opions or options

Have had my 97 XJ for a week now and already tinted the windows and added keyless entry/remote start. Now on to the more important stuff.

I'm going to lift it. I was dead set on rough county 4.5" x-series but now a local said to look into rubicon express and they ride better. I'm looking to keep my jeep a dd but use it for some wheeling.

Next is gears. Is it a must to change my gears and if so where should I shop for them and how hard are they to install.

Next interior. The floor are really bad I'm gonna try and shampoo them this week. If I don't like it. What are my options to a new interior. Seats are getting replace also.

Thanks
Matt

First off welcome to the forum. Second, there are a lot of opinions on different lifts around here. Its all just a matter of personal preference. If you search around here you can read up on the positive and negatives of each one. As for interior check out the Homebrew Jeep mods thread. A lot of interior mods for cheap. Good luck and happy hunting!

Yes I have been reading as much as I can on the different kits. I am now leaning towards RE but I must say it is a tough decision.

the only thing i dont like or understand about RE is y in the hell r they so high and they dont even come with shocks... The 4.5" RE super-flex is $935 with a add a leaf & with out shocks and the 4.5" RC X-series is $830 with full leaf pack and shock...so what is so special bout RE

That's what I am trying to figure out. I don't want add a leafs but I'm going to try and see how it will cost to upgrade an RE kit. I also want and adjustable arm also
