I run duratracs. Pretty aggressive looking but go forever. Good on snow (coming from another Michigander lol) and mud; clean out well.

I have the bf t/a and they're great for the driving i do and light trails, have never been in clay mud so thankfully they haven't gotten me stuck yet but I would look at treadwright's guarddog, that's what i'm looking at for my next set. Their tires run big and the guarddog has only a 9.5" pavement tread width on the 31 for easier rolling but lugs off the side for offroad when you need it. Also i have yet to hear anything bad from them, anytime there was some issue the company always helped

what kind of road noise do you have?

also, do you know where they sit on price...those generals are priced about 150 per tire

I'm running BFG Mud Terrains, going with the KM2's when these need replaced. Neither one is very aggressive, so they're good for a DD, not something I'd really want for a dedicated trail rig though. I'll never buy another tire that is an all terrain personally, the extra mileage you may get out of an all terrain isn't worth the lack of offroad performance to me, but I wheel mine a lot too. Most radial mud terrain tires these days last a long time anyways, and do great on the road.

Can't hear them on road. I want to say about $170 per tire. The wall is a little thin though, so if you play in the rocks this might not be the best tire. If I were to get new tires I'd probably go with KM2s, MTRs, or Cooper Discoverer STTs.

I'm enjoying my 33x12.50 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs.

They get good traction on and off road. I've never had a problem with them. The road noise is hardly noticeable. I've had them over a year now and you can't even tell that I've used them, so I'd say they're wearing nicely.

I have some cooper discover at3s. Nice on road, not too loud unless youre driving right next to a highway divider (only notice the noise when I'm driving next to the temp concrete barriers they drop down to funnel traffic)

pretty good off road.

I don't know what kind of a test it really provides, but pulled this guy out no problem while on loose rock/dirt.
