tire size and trimming ?

I cant afford a lift yet but need to buy tires now. I have a stock 99 xj if I trimmed my fenders what size tires could I go with any pics with stock lift and trimmed fenders.

If its sagging real bad pry 30 is the biggest you want to go.

i stole it dude. only 2 fade spots in paint, 2 minor dents and underneath it looks like it has never seen water. the guy wanted 2500 for it.
